Role: Executive Producer
Living on the Edge is a documentary produced by MediaLab at Pacific Lutheran University. The film tells the story of the residents of North Cove, WA, home of the fastest-eroding stretch of Pacific coastline in the United States. Residents describe the devastation experienced by the town as house after house has fallen into the ocean, and what they are doing to fight back.
Living on the Edge was nominated for a College Emmy Award by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Northwest Division.
As Executive Producer of the film and Director of MediaLab, my role was to meet with the documentary team every week for check-ins, help guide the topical focus of the film, attend shoots, identify gaps in reporting, offer technical guidance, and offer feedback on drafts of the film.
