Role: Graphic designer, copy writer

Region 16 Comprehensive Center worked with a Tribally run consulting group to develop a series of videos featuring each of the nine Federally recognized Tribes in Oregon, outlining what meaningful Tribal Consultation means to them. Under state law, any government agency with a proposal that may affect any Tribe’s lands, rights, or lifeways must complete a formal consultation process with each affected Tribe. However, many state employees were not engaging in consultation in culturally sustaining ways.

The team wrote a blog outlining the lessons learned from producing the video series. This social media graphic promoted the blog and was published to Region 16’s LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter accounts.
