This interactive projection installation was exhibited at the 2019 Life Under Drones Symposium at Pacific Lutheran University. Viewers are invited to step into a drone control station and navigate an apocalyptic landscape, where time-battered United States monuments are put on display, rendering the familiar eerily unfamiliar. As users are only able to experience these icons of Americana through the distanced, remote perspective of the drone, this piece is a mediation on the legacy of the United States drone war that continues in relative secrecy to this day.

All 3D models were created from my own original photos, the travel for which was supported by a Dean’s Faculty Development Award, then hand-modeled in Blender.
